Saltallary Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Nota de Cata:

The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc from these high-altitudes is a two-family wine. It is a 50/50 blend (1,000 liters each) of wine from Salta, from the Dávalos family, that provides the aromatic expression and the other half from Gualtallary, produced by Matías Micheline of Passionate Wines, that provides acidity and tension. The wine is exactly like that, the yellow chile and spicy aromas from Salta and the electricity from Gualtallary. It is subtler than the more extreme wines from Salta and with more integrated acidity than the sharper bottlings from Gualtallary. They liked the result of this and might do something similar with Malbec. Some 2,400 bottles were produced in this first vintage. They are going to keep some bottles to see how this ages".- 92 puntos,
